Congratulations! I'm not surprised that anyone would complete Kaya's collection before Samantha's; Kaya's is much smaller. But regardless of the size of the collection, I'm still impressed!
As soon as the other three items arrive I will have completed a Historical collection (at least until they come out with new stuff). I will have Kaya's complete collection... I feels kind of weird. I thought I would have Samantha's complete first, mainly because she was my first... but her collection just keeps freaking growing <grrrr>. So yeah, Kaya will be complete.

So I thought (and believe me hers is my largest collection) I would be done with hers first... but gahhhh they just keep coming up with things.Originally posted by Kenshinchan:

Congratulations! I love Kaya's collection and I hope someday there will be a movie about her. It would be fabulous.
Miss_Felicity's_Closet I love the dresses on your girls posted above! They are adorable! Congrats on completing Kaya's collection. I'm close to finishing hers off..just need a few outfits. The other girl I had been working on is Felicity's Nonretired collection. All I have left is the carriage and the new armoire. If they hadn't added all the new items I would be finished! Kaya is my next project....don't get me started......lol
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't think Samantha has more items because she's spoiled, I think it is historically accurte that way. Think about it... Kaya (or Native American's in general) did not have a big selection of clothing, much less color choices. They had to make their clothing from animal hides and use dyes from berries etc. In Samantha's time (over 100 years later) they had choices of fabrics, colors, etc. and were expected (in society) to have a different outfit for each occasion (especially as Samantha was in the upper class). I'm not trying to pick on you, just give you a reason why Kaya has less items and less clothing. Hopefully my explaination made sense.Originally posted by Kit 1934:
It's not fair the way a spoiled Victorian child gets all of the new outfits and accessories, while the Native American rarely gets anything.
